This Privacy Policy explains how Persian IP Connect (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

We designed Persian IP Connect to help users outside Iran securely access Iran-based services using an Iranian IP. We do not use cross-app tracking, and we do not access the advertising identifier (IDFA). Ads (if shown) are non-personalized.

What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the app, provide purchases, show non-personalized ads, and improve reliability:

  • Identifiers: User ID (app/RevenueCat user identifier), Device ID (Firebase Instance ID). We do not collect IDFA.
  • Purchases: Receipt/entitlement information to unlock and restore in-app purchases.
  • Usage Data: Product interaction and advertising data (e.g., ad impressions) for analytics and third-party advertising (non-personalized).
  • Diagnostics (if enabled): Crash and performance data to maintain app stability.

We do not intentionally collect: name, email, phone number, contact list, precise location, photos/videos, or other sensitive categories. If you contact support, we will use the information you provide to assist you.

How We Use Your Data

  • App Functionality: Provide VPN connectivity (via Apple’s Network Extension), manage subscriptions/entitlements, and restore purchases.
  • Fraud Prevention, Security & Compliance: Verify purchases, prevent abuse, secure our services, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Analytics: Understand app performance and reliability (aggregated insights).
  • Third-Party Advertising (Non-Personalized): Display contextually relevant ads without tracking across other apps or websites.

Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

  • Contract: To provide the app and your purchases.
  • Legitimate Interests: App security, fraud prevention, analytics, and non-personalized advertising.
  • Consent: Where required by law (e.g., local consent for analytics/ads). We do not request ATT tracking consent and do not access IDFA.

SDKs and Service Providers

These providers act as processors or independent controllers depending on their services. They may process data on servers outside your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers where required.

Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above (e.g., maintaining entitlements, ensuring security, complying with law). Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained longer for analytics and service improvement.

Your Choices

  • Non-Personalized Ads: Ads are served without cross-app tracking. You can limit ad measurement features in your device settings.
  • Purchases: Use “Restore Purchases” in the app to re-activate entitlements.
  • Analytics/Crash Reporting: You may disable analytics/crash sharing in your device settings where available.

Your Rights (EEA/UK and similar regimes)

Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, or object to certain processing.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (e.g., IKEv2/IPsec and TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International Transfers

We may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version in-app and update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
